Added extra assets to the carnival tents which consists of a popcorn machine, a til, candy floss bags and a barrel with large lollipops. Since these assets are used for background environment to give the level more flare. I have still optimised this updated model so that it can run smoothly and use it for other assets for the carnival i.e the can alley game whilst using the carnival tent as a 'separate and new asset'.
Version 2:
Like the carnival tents I wanted to add more assets to the carnival entrance since i thought it would give the level more of a characteristic, also some of the other assets that were needed for the carnival are related to the entrance so i thought of adding it to the existing entrance file. the assets that are included are gate barrier, flag pole, wire lighting, wire flags.
I didn't have trouble creating these extra assets since it uses basic shapes.
Each extra asset took around 10-30 mins to create which didn't take a toll on the overview of the time management schedule we had.
Each model has been optimised regarding their workflow history and their un-seen polys to help improve the overall gameplay.
